Scientific Games has signed an agreement to modernise the terminals of Lotto Rheinland-Pfalz, marking the fourth German state lottery to benefit from the company’s advanced retail solutions. The project will introduce Scientific Games’ Contour.v terminals, which feature camera-based technology designed to bridge the gap between retail and digital sales, delivering a seamless, connected experience for players.

Under the terms of the new five-year contract, which includes an option for an additional three years, Scientific Games will install its innovative SYMPHONY Edge terminal software and management system. The rollout is scheduled to begin in 2025, and the upgrade will include extensive training for Lotto Rheinland-Pfalz retailers, ensuring they are well-equipped to maximise the potential of the new technology.

This partnership reflects Scientific Games’ ongoing commitment to advancing lottery operations worldwide. The company has previously implemented similar modernisation efforts in three other German state lotteries, helping to streamline operations and enhance the overall player experience.
