Gaming revenue in Nevada hits $1.24 billion in February
Las Vegas Strip generated $712.4m in February.
Revenue increased by 11.1 per cent year-on-year.
In February, Nevada casinos saw gaming revenue of $1.24bn, marking an 11% increase year-on-year, according to the Nevada Gaming Control Board (NGCB).
The Las Vegas Strip alone generated $712.4m, an 18% year-on-year rise, while Clark County generated $1bn, a 13.8% increase. Conversely, Washoe County saw an 8% year-on-year fall in revenue.
Slots made up $822m of the revenue, up 7.6% from the previous year, and table, counter, and card games generated $411.5m, an 18.8% increase, with blackjack contributing $102.4m.
Sportsbooks generated $43.1m in revenue, up 33.5% year-on-year, despite sports wagering falling 15.6% to $659.4m. Of all sports bets, mobile sports wagering accounted for 61%.
The state received $75.5m in percentage fees based on taxable revenues generated in February, a 28.18% rise compared to March last year, when collections were $58.9m.
