PAGCOR recognizes and honors its employees who have successfully passed the Philippine Bar Examination
PAGCOR has extended recognition and awards to three employees, including the topnotcher, for their successful completion of the exam in 2022.
At the Executive Committee Meeting held at the PAGCOR Executive Office in Manila on April 19, the Board of Directors, headed by Chairman and CEO Alejandro Tengco, bestowed honors upon the topnotcher and other employees who successfully passed the Philippine Bar Examination in 2022.
The term “topnotcher” is widely used in the Philippines to denote the individual who secured the highest rank in a licensure or board examination. In this case, Czar Matthew Gerard Dayday, whose parents are both employed as dealers at Casino Filipino, was recognized with honorary certificates and monetary gifts in acknowledgment of his remarkable accomplishment.
Tengco announced that DayDay will be awarded a laptop of his choosing by President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, Jr. and First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos, marking a momentous occasion for the agency as DayDay secured the top rank in the Philippine Bar Examination.
Furthermore, the PAGCOR board recognized and rewarded Michael Joseph De Jesus Bailey, branch manager at Casinos Philippines, and Malou Pangalangan, pit officer at Casinos Cebu Philippines, for their successful completion of the bar exam.
