Michal Kowal Empowers Homa’s Publishing Success as Director
In a significant move, Homa, a leading mobile game publishing company, welcomes Michal Kowal as its new Director of Publishing. His impressive track record, including over twelve years in the gaming industry and an executive role at Boombit, positions him to drive Homa’s ambitious strategy, launching successful hypercasual and hybridcasual titles.
Michal’s achievements at Boombit, where he served as Chief Operating Officer, extended to building mid-core and hybridcasual segments, overseeing operations, business development, process, and marketing strategy. Notably, he played a pivotal role in boosting business profitability, exemplified by the hit game Hunt Royale, amassing over 6.5 million downloads and generating $22 million in revenue. His contributions also included shaping the company’s organizational structure and implementing long-term predictive UA and analysis tools.
Homa, with a remarkable record of publishing over 80 games in just five years, aims to double down on its developer support approach and enhance its studio ecosystem. Michal’s arrival reinforces this vision and sets the stage for launching new market-leading games.
Olivier Le Bas, Homa’s Co-founder and Chief Revenue Officer, expressed his excitement, stating, “Michal is a very hands-on, knowledgeable and passionate leader of our industry. We are thrilled to have him onboard to accelerate our publishing strategy and launch even more games on the market.”
Michal Kowal also shared his enthusiasm, saying, “I deeply admire the impressive portfolio of hypercasual and hybridcasual games [Homa] has built in such a short time.
