Netherlands to Implement Stricter Online Gambling Regulations in 2024

The Netherlands, having regulated online gambling since 2021, is set to introduce stricter regulations in the sector by late 2024. Dutch Minister for Legal Protection Franc Weerwind has announced proposed changes aimed at enhancing player protection and responsible gambling practices.
