Boldplay has obtained a new gambling licence from the Romanian National Gambling Office

Boldplay, a provider of online gaming software, has obtained a licence to launch its range of igaming content in the regulated online gambling market of Romania.

Boldplay has received a licence from Romania’s national regulator Oficiul National pentru Jocuri de Noroc (ONJN) that permits the online gaming software provider to offer its igaming content in the country.

Boldplay’s licence will allow approved Romanian operators to roll out the provider’s more than 80 games, including table games, scratchcards, and bingo and keno options, as well as its slot titles, such as Biker Santa: Bells Angels and Cam Carter and The Cursed Caves.

This licence marks Boldplay’s second full licence after securing its first from the Gibraltar Licensing Authority earlier in 2023.

Valli Fragoso, Boldplay’s CEO, expressed enthusiasm for the opportunity, saying that Romania forms a key part of Boldplay’s expansion plans for the year.
